Real Weddings// Allison + Brett

Last month, our weddings team had the opportunity to plan and execute the second-ever wedding held at the one and only {beautiful} Minneapolis Institute of Arts! The MIA was such a unique space for Allison and Brett’s wedding and their sleek style fit perfectly with the venue’s contemporary new Target expansion.

Guests watched the beautiful couple wed up in the MIA’s Villa Rosa room overlooking the outdoor courtyard and later moved to the Atrium for cocktails and gallery visits before entering the reception hall.

As if the MIA couldn’t get any more beautiful, Allison and Brett’s unique and modern décor elements made for the perfect artistic wedding. Think sleek, monochromatic linens and bridesmaid dresses, ghost and ice chaivari chairs, big, beautiful floral arrangements comprised of orchids and garden roses, and acrylic candelabras. Need we say more?

The guests were not only wooed by the beautiful décor, but by the lively entertainment as well. The talented {and Minnesota-born} rock band, Roster McCabe, jammed the night away and helped turn the wedding into an upscale party where guests danced until they could no more.
