Harriet Island Pavilion // Sarah & Drew

In honor of Sarah & Drew Post's 3rd Anniversary this week, we wanted to showcase their Memorial Day weekend wedding. The refreshingly fun-loving couple decided to own the holiday theme by incorporating touches of red, blue, and {of course} white throughout the entire day.

The laid-back wedding gave us the chance to put our design skills to the test with this week-of client. Sarah rounded up a variety of vintage props including distressed wooden boxes, unique rustic vases, and antique linens. Though the bouquets and boutonnieres were {thankfully} professionally done, we arranged fresh greenery and dainty florals into the vintage centerpiece items for a "just picked from the garden" feel. Cute tea towels and vintage-inspired chargers and plates rounded out the table decor. A bright red mailbox labeled, “Post”, added a fun pop of color and paid tribute to the couple's newly shared last name which held "post"cards written by guests to serve as their guestbook.

The ceremony and reception alike stayed true to the bride and groom's relaxed style and turned out beautifully. Check out the images below to see how their special day unfolded!
