On a day when it’s often all about the bride, this is the perfect way to give the groom some love and attention. This southern tradition has made its way up north and we love, love, love the idea. Because it’s still a novelty, it’s a great way to surprise your man. But don’t think of this as a way to stretch your cake budget; you still need wedding cake for all your guests. The groom’s cake is typically served after the wedding cake, either as part of the late night snacks or boxed up in cute boxes as favors at the end of the night.
