Vendor Feature: Annika Bridal Boutique

Kate and Annie

We are so thrilled to introduce to you Annika Bridal Boutique and the fab women behind it all, Annie and Kate. Not only do they bring designers and gorgeous gowns {previously unavailable} to the Twin Cities, but they do so in an unassuming way, welcoming each bride with extremely warm and personalized service. Located on 50th and France, the boutique just recently opened on Labor Day weekend, and we are already receiving rave reviews from brides. Check out our Q&A with Annie where we had the opportunity to learn more about their inspiration and their newly opened boutique.

Tell us about Annika Bridal. What inspired you to open this boutique?
Annika Bridal Boutique was created out of our love and passion for bridal gowns and that moment when a bride finds her gown.

What is unique about Annika Bridal compared to other salons?
Annika Bridal Boutique focuses on each bride individually by creating unique spaces throughout the boutique so each bride can find a place where she feels comfortable and that speaks to her. We hand pick every single dress in our boutique with the Minnesota and Midwest bride in mind. From classic gowns to slightly edgier fashion, we offer a carefully curated selection and exclusivity with most of our designers.

What designers do you carry?  Are there any designers new to the Twin Cities market?
The designers we carry are:  Galia Lahav, GALA by Galia Lahav, Marchesa, Reem Acra, Sareh Nouri, LianCarlo, Rosa Clara Two & Soft, Calla Blanche, and Astrid & Mercedes.

What is the price range for the gowns you carry?
Our price range is $2,000-$15,000, with a majority of our gowns falling between $2,500-$4,500.

What trends are you seeing in bridal gowns for 2017?
The trend we are noticing are Deep V's and low backs.

What is your favorite bridal gown in your shop right now?
Annie's favorite gown is the "Annie" gown by Sareh Nouri...named after her! :) And....Galia Lahav "Loretta", just to die for! Kate's favorite gown is "Daffodil" by Marchesa!!

Left, "Daffodil" by Marchesa. Right, "Loretta" by Galia Lahav.

In addition to bridal gowns, what other products or services do you offer?   Do you offer alterations?
We offer veils and jewelry in addition to our gowns. We do not offer in-house alterations, however, we have 2 incredible seamstresses we recommend, one is down the hall from us… Drazenka Designs, and the other is a few shops down, Kristen Olson.. The Dressmaker! :)

What experience should brides expect while visiting your salon?
We want every bride that walks through our door to feel relaxed and comfortable and to know that we offer a non-pressured and stress free dress shopping experience.

If you're a bride searching for that perfect gown, we hope you will check out Annika's Bridal.
