Aria // Melissa & Tyler
After 2 years of dating, Tyler proposed to Melissa at their home in Boston. As Melissa was getting ready for their date night, Tyler began the scavenger hunt proposal with an image of a moose holding a sign saying “Help Me!” which eventually led her to Tyler on one knee asking her to marry him. After the proposal they were greeted by family and friends at dinner to celebrate!
With family all across the U.S. and a plan to move to Minnesota, Melissa and Tyler saw Minneapolis as a central location and a perfect way to show friends and family their soon-to-be home. The ceremony was filled with romance and excitement as Tyler waited to see his bride for the first time as she walked down the aisle {though the couple shared a moment out of sight as they exchanged notes to each other}.
Following the ceremony, guests made their way to Aria which was detailed with hints of gold and blush tones. Melissa needed her girly fix so a floral M and T were affixed to the church doors and flowers cascaded off of the head table. And, of course, why have one bridal gown when you can have two? Given the post dinner festivities, a slimmer, more manageable gown was certainly in order. “As a nod to our individual heritages, Tyler chose a German beer to share with our friends and family,” says Melissa, “and I wanted an Hora Loca {meaning Crazy Hour}, which is a Peruvian tradition!” These elements brought dancing, fun and a limbo to their special day!
